Since 2009 Gothia Vind is investigating the possibilities of establishing a wind farm northwest of Ljungbyholm, in Kalmar municipality.
The area is being assessed to have good conditions for wind power and to this date the plan is to build 14 wind turbines with an effective output of 2-4 MW each, and a total height of maximum 200 meters.

Investigations

Gothia Vind has contracted environmental and archaeological consultant companies to investigate birds of prey, bats, nature values and archaeological values in the project area. Results from the investigations will be treated with special consideration in the ongoing process.

Information and meetings

An early neighbours meeting was held in December 2009. On December 8, 2011 Gothia Vind held a consultation with municipality and county administration board of Kalmar.
Gothia Vind plan to have consulted the public in the beginning of 2012. Invitations will be sent to interested property owners by mail and the invitation will also be advertised in newspaper in advance of the meeting.

Gothia Vind undersöker sedan 2009 möjligheterna att etablera en vindpark i skogsområdet nordväst om Ljungbyholm, i Kalmar kommun. I dagsläget planeras för 14 vindkraftverk i storleksordningen 2-4 MW med en totalhöjd om maximalt 200 meter.

Området

Parken är planerad till ett område med få kända motstående intressen och där förutsättningar för vindkraft bedöms som goda gällande vindresurser. Området består huvudsakligen av produktionsskog och terrängen är relativt flack.

  • Gothia Vind har anlitat konsulter med uppdrag att inventera området avseende rovfåglar- och fladdermöss, naturmiljö samt kulturmiljö. Resultaten från inventeringarna kommer att behandlas med särskild hänsyn i den fortsatta projekteringen.
  • Ett informationsmöte med närboende hölls i tidigt skede vid Ljungbyholms församlingshem 14 december 2009.
  • Den 8 december 2011 arrangerades ett samråd med kommun och länsstyrelse.
  • Gothia Vind planerar att ha samråd med allmänheten i början på 2012. Inbjudan kommer att sändas till berörda fastighetsägare per post samt annonsering kommer att ske i dagstidningar i god tid före mötet.
