Vindpark Kingebol

Since autum 2008 Gothia Vind have been investigating the possibilities for building a wind farm of 5 – 9 turbines in the area between Ã…nimskog and Tösse in Ã…mÃ¥l municipality, Sweden. The area seems to have good conditions for wind power, strong winds and few opposing interests. Wind measurements with a 100 meter high mast will start during the summer of 2010. The wind farm at Kingebol will have an estimated electric power production of 45 000 MWh per year. Ã…mÃ¥l Municipality together with Bengtsfors, Dals-Ed, Färgelanda, Mellerud are together doing a wind power plan for Dalsland called Vindbruk Dalsland. The wind power plan is expected to be finalized during 2010 and will conclude the Municipalities directions for wind power.
